Ingrid Michaelson - San Francisco
When you’re broken, you can’t tell them… where it hurts.
Ingrid Michaelson covers “We Found Love.”
Ingrid Michaelson: Somebody That I Used To Know
Also, here’s the long-promised video of Ingrid covering Gotye at the pop-up show I attended on February 1. You can barely hear her over the huge laughs she garnered, but I love this video.

We hate the rain when it fills up our shoes
But how we love when it washes our cars
We love to love when it fills up the room
But when it leaves, we’re cursing the stars

And Other Things Ingrid Michaelson Says.
Highlights of the pop-up show:
And my favorites from Human Again so far are Ribbons, Do It Now, and In the Sea. Keep Warm is great and reminds me of Regina Spektor, which is pretty much the best thing anyone can aim to be for me. I also like Black and Blue and Save Me because they don’t sound like her usual stuff. This entire album is much more different than her last few. I’m going to have to do a lot more listening this weekend so I know some of the words by her show next Wednesday.

Ingrid Michaelson - In The Sea
No, no don’t rescue me.
I like the saltwater sting.
It feels so good just to feel.
It feels so good just to feel something.
In the sea, in the sea, in the sea.
